Other Art Forms

Writing is just one form of many forms of art. Music, sculpture, drawing, painting and photography are other ways people express their creativity. I am a firm believer in creative activities and I strongly support the arts in schools. SO here are links to creative people in other avenues.

Concert News

<>Ok, so for our two year anniversary my husband and I went to see Alice Cooper at the Brady Theater in Tulsa on Aug 14th. It was my first concert. And I am soooo glad that is seriously didn't suck. Now, I am not an Alice Cooper fan. But It was absolutely awesome! The guys that were playing for him were great and I have to say that if you ever have an opportunity to see Alice Cooper live, do it. It was visually stunning, a show that I am still reeling over. Now I am not with the jargon and I apologize for that. There was the guitarist; Jason Hook whom I honestly couldn't keep my eyes off. :P, Keri Keli  who did this acoustic solo intro to the song Desperado that just brought tears to my eyes. Then Eric Singer on drums. These guys are awesome, they really are and I personally will be watching their music careers with interest.

• Jason Hook   has a cd out. You really ought to check it out! Great writing music!
• Keri Keli   now I do not see a cd up for sale, but the background music on his site is cool. Will definatly be keeping an eye out for any solo projects.
• Alice Cooper   For a guy who was rockin out before I was born he puts on a kick ass show. Even if you are not a fan, you gotta see him before he retires.

Hubby and I have a list of bands we want to go see and so I think I'll update this section with that info as it happens.

Music

I love music. All sorts of music. From Rock to Classical about the only thing I really can't stand is rap and opera, but then again there are a few pieces that I can/will listen too. I thought I would compile a list of who I listen to while I write/read/chase kids around.

• Scott Church  is a very talented photographer, IMO. He has a book that he is preparing to release here soon
